Methods: The study was carried out as prospective cross-sectional, single-centered and descriptive with 225 patients hospitalized in the second-level emergency intensive care unit. “Questionnaire Form” and “State and Continuity Anxiety Inventory” that questioned the socio-demographic characteristics and satisfaction status of the patients were used in collecting the data. In the evaluation of the data; percentage distributions, t test, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were used. Results: The mean age of patients in the study was 36.9±12.7 (18-85) 55.5% (n=101) were male and 67% (n=122) was married. The trait anxiety level was 42.9±7.6 (27-70), the state anxiety level 43.6±10.5 (20-76) when they were admitted to the emergency intensive care clinic, and the state anxiety level was 45.6±12.3 (20-66) when leaving the clinic and the state between entry and exit. It was determined that anxiety levels did not change much. It was found that the satisfaction levels of the patients had no effect on the state and state anxiety levels and were not statistically significant (p>0.05). Conclusion: Anxiety levels of inpatients were found to be moderate and their satisfaction was good.
