Transfer length is the key indicator to describe the bond properties between prestressed steel and concrete. Through tests on prestressed beams, this paper is focused on the experimental verification of an analytical model developed to analyse the processes of bond degradation due to the corrosion of both indented and smooth wires, and its influence on the behaviour of prestressed concrete members.
