In this short review, we discuss the salient features of the model and phenomenology of Large, Warped and Universal extra dimensional models. Models of large and warped extra dimension primarily intended to connect two apparently uncorrelated energy scales, namely the electroweak and Planck scale. While the main motivation for Universal Extra Dimension model was to provide a viable candidate for relic particle. Null results from the searches at the LHC for the signal of extra-dimensional models have pushed the lower limits of Kaluza Klein excitation of gravitons/Standard Model particles in the ballpark of few TeV.
