However, the isothermal titration calorimetry results showed specific interactions between gelatin and endotoxin, suggesting the difficulties of removing endotoxin from gelatin in mild conditions. In this work, a polyethyleneimine-grafted silica gel adsorbent for endotoxin was designed and prepared.
