Experiential education is an educational philosophy that is increasingly popular in the tourism and hospitality sector. This paper overviews the experience, with examples of times when learning took place as well as what students took out of the trip. The overall trip is summarized, and then cultural and practical experience, tourism, and sustainability are discussed.
