This article begins with the challenges of current clinical nutritional diagnosis and treatment and outlines their limitations. We propose a concept of digital twin for personalized nutrition. It is based on a digital clinical platform and elaborates on how to apply digital twin technique to establish a multimodule, multiscale simulation and prediction platform for patient.
