摘要

Myrcia DC摘要。门派Calyptranthes(Sw.)A.R.Lourenço&E.Lucas是新热带杨梅属的一部分,已知物种约260种。

A Monographic Conspectus of Myrcia Sect. Calyptranthes (Myrtaceae) from South and Central America
Abstract Myrcia DC. sect. Calyptranthes (Sw.) A. R. Lourenço & E. Lucas is a section of the Neotropical genus Myrcia with ca. 260 known species. This paper provides a taxonomic revision of 89 species occurring across South and Central America, including the Amazon, Andes, Guiana Shield, and Mesoamerica, and extending into the Caribbean archipelago, but not including those previously treated from the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. The treatment includes an identification key, informal taxonomic groupings and notes, geographic distribution information, and extinction risk assessments. Figures illustrating key morphological characters of the genus are provided including common leaf, flower bud, and inflorescence arrangements. Ten new synonyms, eight new lectotypes, and four new combinations are proposed, and a key to treated species is supplied.

期刊介绍: The Annals of the Missouri Botanical Garden is a quarterly international journal primarily devoted to systematic botany and evolutionary biology. We encourage submissions of original papers dealing with significant advances in the taxonomy, phylogeny, biogeography, paleobiology, and evolution of plants, and in conservation genetics and biology, restoration ecology, and ethnobiology, using morphological and/or molecular characters, field observations, and/or database information. We also welcome reviews and papers on conceptual issues and new methodologies in systematics. Important floristic works will also be considered. Symposium proceedings discussing a broader range of topical biological subjects are also published, typically once a year. All manuscripts are peer-reviewed by qualified and independent reviewers.
