We also provide an estimate of the number of clinical psychologists that would be needed to provide quality psychological care. It is estimated that 543 clinical psychologists currently work with children and adolescents in the Spanish National Health System, which represents 19% of total of clinical psychologists. The national ratio is 1 clinical psychologist per 100,000 inhabitants, with significant diffe-rences between autonomous regions.
