The rhetorical figures displayed by the patriarch express deep environmental senses that allow process of reflection and environmental and cultural action. The text gives guidelines and suggests that metaphorical and metonymic language is central to the appropriation of action guides, anchored in a semiotics of religion, attentive to recognizing ontologies and figurative senses, which allow to broaden the understanding and interpretation of the process of signification
