The extraction of ion association, drown to Triton X-114 micelles, was measured spectrophotometrically. The phase separation was studied and optimized.Beer's law was rectilinear over the concentration ranges of 0.1-20 and 0.3-10 µg/mL with molar absorptivity4x10 4 and 5.7x10 4 L.mol -1 cm -1 and average recovery 98.21% and 101.27% for the above drugs, respectively.
