Conflictos, diálogo y acción colectiva con enfoque territorial: nuevas formas de pensar la relación comunidad-empresa- Estado

The development of high impact indus­trial projects based in natural resources extrac­tion in rural territories of Latin America invol­ves a number of challenges. Among them stand the increase of conflict settings and the increase of difficulties for territorial stakeholders to implement mechanisms to transform these conflicts into collective action opportunities. In many cases, the stakeholders are influenced by a short-term reactive logic characteristic of transactional approaches, which does not allow proper results from a dialog scenario. This article seeks to generate a discus­sion about typologies and causes of exist­ing conflicts in high impact industries, new forms of thinking the conversation about the intentionality that stakeholders have for it, and establishing a possible itinerary between conflict transformation, dialogue, and a col­lective action oriented to sustainable develop­ment in the territory where the projects are implemented.
