摘要

The CryoSat-2 is equipped with a synthetic aperture/interferometric radar altimeter that can accurately detect changes in sea and continental ice surface elevation. The interferometric data provided by its synthetic aperture interferometric mode (SARIn) can be used to invert ground elevation information using traditional differential interferometry techniques. However, the SARIn secondary product released by the European Space Agency does not fully utilize this information. Introduced the working principle of SARIn mode, and combined with traditional interferometry technology, proposed an algorithm and process for extracting digital elevation models using SARIn level 1b (L1b) data. Eliminate erroneous information in the data through data quality inspection; By selecting appropriate unwrapping starting points through signal strength and coherence, the interference data can be unwrapped row by row; Calculate the satellite perspective, combine the satellite attitude, velocity, position, and line of sight distance information to calculate the three-dimensional information of ground points, and finally interpolate to generate SARIn DEM (digital elevation model). Using this algorithm to perform interferometric processing on SARIn L1b data from January to April 2012, a digital elevation model of the local area of the Lambert Glacier Basin in Antarctica was obtained. By comparing ICESat DEM and RMAP DEM, it is shown that SARIn DEM has high accuracy and can meet the research of elevation changes in regions such as the North and South Poles.
