The ionic compound crystallizes in the triclinic, space group P-1. The environment of the Sn ion is octahedral slightly deformed. Supramolecular architecture involves C—H…O, C—H…Cl and N—H…O hydrogen bonds and featuring p–p stacking interactions link the molecules into a three-dimensional network.
