Chronic illnesses are defined as any disorder or deviation from the standard including one or more of the following characteristics: they are persistent, result from irreversible pathological changes, and require constant treatment. Type 1 diabetes, like other chronic diseases, affects the development and quality of life of the child and the rest of the family. This disease, which from the moment of its occurrence, lasts throughout life and is still incurable, constitutes an important social problem. The treatment process requires the patient and his/her family to participate in the treatment. Objectives.
