Cultural Clinical Psychology and PTSD

This chapter considers cultural dimensions to be a theory-guided framework within which to approach the wealth of psychological differences across diverse cultural groups. First, a few reflective statements will provide some background to the topic. This is followed by an overview of the current state of research on these dimensions in general, as well as in the area of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and prolonged grief disorder (PGD).
