Considering the developed complications – mechanical jaundice and purulent cholangitis, as well as large operative risk, it was decided to refrain from open surgical intervention. Traditionally-performed endoscopic stone extraction did not provide any success. Contact electro-impulse lithotripsy and lithotomy were performed.
