The essence therefore of this study is to examine the effect of load shedding on community health centres in South Africa. A desktop method was used in gathering information, while it was analysed using a combination of content analysis, narrative analysis and themes analysis. It emphasizes that load shedding has caused a lot of damages ranging from the loss of 150 lives in hospital, to poor sanitation, and to interrupted water supply.
