This review examines ASF's contribution to health outcomes in infancy and early childhood, schoolchildren, adolescence, pregnancy and lactation, and adulthood in LMIC, before exploring barriers to consumption. Constraints and barriers to ASF consumption in LMIC most significantly affect children and women.
