该研究已在clinicaltrials.gov(NCT02804620)上注册。

Social support and diabetes distress: Does the messenger matter as much as the message?

We explored the relationship between social support (family/friends and health care team) and four diabetes distress subscales in 196 adults with type 2 diabetes in a specialty care setting. Health care support was associated with lower physician- and regimen-related distress, while friends/family support was related to lower interpersonal distress. The study was registered on clinicaltrials.gov (NCT02804620).

期刊介绍: Chronic illnesses are prolonged, do not resolve spontaneously, and are rarely completely cured. The most common are cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, coronary artery disease, stroke and heart failure), the arthritides, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes and epilepsy. There is increasing evidence that mental illnesses such as depression are best understood as chronic health problems. HIV/AIDS has become a chronic condition in those countries where effective medication is available.
