Fifteen subjects had stage II grade A or B periodontitis, and 15 were periodontally and clinically healthy. Whole-mouth periodontal parameters [probing depth (PD), clinical attachment loss (CAL), plaque index (PI), and gingival index (GI)] were recorded.
