This trend must be incorporated into existing fixed prosthodontics academic curricula through the integration of lithium disilicate and zirconium oxide crown preparation guidelines. In addition, crown fabrication techniques have also evolved for these newer materials through digitization of preparations and impressions and their computer-assisted manufacturing.
