As donors, we used local white rice varieties of Kazakhstan breeding adapted to the soil and climate conditions of rice growing regions (Madina, Marzhan, Bakanasskiy, PakLi) as well as foreign varieties. The ability to set hybrid caryopses and the percentage of sterility were determined in obtained F1 rice hybrids.
