The course of the disease is highly variable, symptoms and signs may change rapidly due to infection or pregnancy. MG is classified using serological, electrophysiological and pharmaceutical tools. A precise diagnosis allows for the choice of right treatment, predicts the course of disease and hence helps with the follow-up.
