The dihedral angle between the plane formed by Pt and the chelating C and N atoms and that formed by Pt and the chelating O atoms is 2.1 (3)°. The angle between the planes of the two rings in the biphenyl-4-carbo-nitrile unit is 35.1 (5)°.
