The results showed pPolyHb retained hemodynamic stability and exhibited superior volume expansion capability. Furthermore, pPolyHb effectively reverse anaerobic metabolism caused by a large amount of volume exchange. In comparison with hetastarch, pPolyHb increased blood oxygen content and tissue oxygenation.
