While pseudoaneurysms of the middle meningeal artery have been reported occasionally [2, 3, 6, 1 0, 16, 25, 27] , pseudoaneurysms of the posterior meningeal artery are exceedingly rare [8, 22, 26] . Hemorrhage secondary to rupture of a traumatic meningeal artery aneurysm is a serious event associated with high morbidity [1 – 3, 5 – 7] . There is very limited data on appropriate treatment strategies.
