[The historical and scientific aspects in the lectures of Prof. Stefan Konsulov and Prof. Mihail Hristov].

In the first half of the 20th century the Sofia University 'St. St. Cyril and Methodius' had turned into a national centre for spread of knowledge and education of specialists with University degrees. Among the lecturers in the sphere of the biological sciences there stand out Stefan Konsulov and Mihail Hristov. Their lecturing and popularization activities reflect the historical development of the evolution principles and the genetics, as well as the contemporary approaches and achievements in the sphere of biology.
