Participants came from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Barbados, and Grenada, as well as the host country, Antigua. Following the workshop, there was a further meeting involving a group of international organizations interested in preventing blindness, educating blind children, and rehabilitating blind adults.
