But it is rarely isolated in contrast to the other pneumallergens. Prevalence of sensitization to moulds varies from one country to the another. We investigated the allergy to moulds using skin prick tests in adult patients with asthma and/or rhinitis in Eskisehir (Anatolia), Turkey. Cladosporium and Aspergillus were found to be the most common causes in the study population (115 patients).
