From April 1996 to October 1996, intraoperative pure-tone audiometry was performed in 36 patients who underwent stapedioplasty. A portable audiometer \"Amplaid 161/C Amplifon\" was used in the operating room. Air conduction thresholds were measured at 125-8000 Hz.
