Since the initial introduction of anatomic abutments, modifications have been made in the abutment design. This presentation introduces one such modification of abutment application. Whereby the gingival tissue is contoured by utilization of an anatomically shaped transmucosal abutment, eliminating the necessity to fabricate a customised anatomic abutment.
