The operational techniques of invaginational, two-layer and one-layer direct ureteroileal anastomoses were studied in 60 dogs. The results were checked by means of radiologic and histologic methods. When the stump of the ureter is intact, direct ureteroileal anastomosis seems to be more favourable from the aspect of restoration of the urine passage and protection of the renal parenchyma.
