When used within the incubation period the drug prevented the infection development. 研究了强力霉素与四环素对鸡胚和豚鼠两种感染模型的影响。在鸡胚实验中,强力霉素的活性高于四环素,对鼠瘟热菌的活性高于西伯利亚鼠瘟热菌。多西环素治疗豚鼠感染普拉兹氏弧菌后,体温迅速稳定下降。在潜伏期内使用该药物可防止感染的发展。强力霉素对西伯利亚致病菌感染效果较差。
