Differential effect of ethidium bromide and cytosine arabinoside on mitochondrial and nuclear DNA synthesis in HeLa cells.
The effect of ethidium bromide (EB) on the synthesis of circular DNA of mammalian cells was studied by isopycnic centrifugation in a CsCl-EB solution.
