The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was obtained by lumbar puncture and two cytology smears were prepared by cytocentrifugation, one of which was stained with the May-Grünwald Giemsa (MGG) stain and the other with Papanicolaou stain. Light microscopic examination revealed pleocytosis along with numerous intracellular phagocytosed as well as extracellular tachyzoites with cytomorphology characteristic of Toxoplasma gondii. 摘要
1例20岁男性脑脊液中检测弓形虫速殖子,诊断为中枢神经系统弓形虫病。腰椎穿刺取脑脊液(CSF),细胞离心涂片2张,分别用may - gr nwald Giemsa (MGG)染色和Papanicolaou染色。光镜检查显示多细胞增生,细胞内大量吞噬和细胞外速殖子,具有刚地弓形虫的细胞形态学特征。血清抗弓形虫IgM水平升高证实了诊断。
