These assays have been extensively used in various fields, such as water quality assessments, pharmaceutical analyses, and biological investigations. The advent of novel reagents, instrument enhancements, and refined data processing techniques, has considerably broadened the application scope of turbidimetry. This manuscript provides a systematic review of turbidimetry's applications in quantifying biomarkers (e.g., blood and urinary proteins, enzymes), microbial loads, drug efficacy, biomolecular interactions, and ionic/molecular concentrations.
