Therefore, an accurate, rapid, easy-to-interpret, and non-invasive tool can assist in diagnosing and offering guidance for clinical decision-making in scenarios of a suspected UGIB. Although standard endoscopic treatment is indispensable, the emergence of novel endoscopic therapies has brought about significant advances in the landscape of UGIB management, yielding improved outcomes.
