Dependence of Poisson’s Ratio on Composition of “IDEAL” Diamond–Carbide Silicon Composites
For the first time, the dependence of Poisson’s ratio of the diamond–silicon carbide composite “IDEAL” is studied in a wide range of industrial diamond grain sizes ranging from nanometers to hundreds of micrometers. The deformation mechanism of a body consisting of particles with different coefficients of volumetric thermal expansion is discussed.
