Mono-Ni(<small>II</small>) 1Ni and bis-Pd(<small>II</small>) 2Pd complexes were obtained. Inspection of the crystal structure of 2Pd showed two Pd(<small>II</small>) ions coordinated with six N atoms and two Pd(<small>II</small>) ions bridged by a Cl atom accompanied by rotation of one pyrrolic unit.
