Mechanism studies show that robot adoption promotes quality upgrading of enterprises' export products mainly through channel mechanisms such as product competition, trade expansion, and first-mover advantage, and product competition involves a coexistence of \"price competition\" and \"quality competition,\" with \"quality competition\" taking the lead. 摘要

本文基于2006 - 2015年中国工业企业数据库和中国海关数据库的微观匹配数据，系统考察了机器人采用对中国企业出口产品质量的影响及其机制。研究发现，机器人的采用显著促进了企业出口产品的质量升级，并且经过一系列的检验，这一发现仍然是稳健的。异质性检验表明，大型企业、民营企业和非高新技术企业采用机器人的促进作用更为显著。机制研究表明，采用机器人主要通过产品竞争、贸易扩张、先发优势等渠道机制促进企业出口产品质量升级，产品竞争涉及“价格竞争”和“质量竞争”并存，以“质量竞争”为主导。本文为支持中国机器人产业的发展提供了有利的证据，也为企业提升出口产品质量提供了有益的参考思路。
