The increasing demand for donor organs has driven innovations in donor pool expansion, which presents new challenges in recipient management, including the need for tailored pretransplant workups and strategies to mitigate long-term complications.

Conclusion: The field of liver transplantation continues to evolve, with broader indications and innovative approaches to donor pool expansion.
