We report a case of a 16-year-old Chinese female diagnosed with biphasic synovial sarcoma. The imaging features, surgical procedures and pathological results of the lesion were described in detail. Additionally, we conducted a review of the literature on synovial sarcoma of the thigh over the past 2 decades, identifying a total of 25 relevant case reports and summarizing the characteristics of these cases.
