Transient overexpression of ZjLAR and ZjANR in jujube fruits resulted in higher total PAs and monomeric catechin, but the PAs decreased after transient silencing. Overexpressing ZjLAR and ZjANR in Arabidopsis and tomato increased the content of PAs in Arabidopsis seeds and tomato fruits.
