Co-occurrence network visualization of keywords indicates a strong focus on biofuel production, biochar, and circular economy principles, suggesting these areas will be central to future research directions. The study concludes that the field is set for considerable growth, with future research likely to emphasize scaling technologies, improving biochar applications, and fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations to enhance the sustainability and economic viability of wood waste valorisation.
