Advances in computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) technology have simplified the procedures for denture fabrication, reducing time and costs while increasing patient satisfaction. However, fractures in overdentures are often caused by misalignment of the occlusal registration, excessive force, material wear, and insufficient space between the denture base and the attachment. Reinforcing the overdenture with a metal framework enhances mechanical strength, stability, and durability.
