Participants scheduled for surgery were administered the Patient Information Form and the Surgical Fear Scale in the preoperative period. In the postoperative period, the Perianesthesia Comfort Scale was administered after leaving the intensive care. Data were analyzed using t test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis tests.</p><p><strong>Findings: </strong>We found that if patients' preoperative fear was low, their postoperative comfort was high.
