Significant factors included an interval >45 days, an age >35 years, the use of an intrauterine device (IUD), and the presence of clue cells.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>Spontaneous clearance of <em>C. trachomatis</em> is significantly affected by age, the interval between two tests, IUD use, and the presence of clue cells.
