We show how this procedure greatly increases germination compared to control treatments in <i>Madia elegans</i>, a close relative of Hawaiian silverswords that exhibits physiological dormancy.</p>\n </section>\n \n <section>\n \n <h3> Conclusions</h3>\n \n <p>This technique can be learned quickly and is highly effective.
