Ninety-one (32%) children used filtered water, 55 (19%) used boiled water, 23 (8%) used boiled and filtered water, 53 (18%) used jar water and 65 (23%) used direct tap water. Five children had complications. One child died due to complications. The mortality rate in the study was 0.38%. <i>Conclusion</i>. Hepatitis A affected pre-school and school children most.
