A simulation model of the energy system of an electric bus was synthesized in MATLAB/Simulink, and the results of simulation of the energy system without a buffer storage and with a buffer of various capacities based on a lithium titanate battery were compared. Determination of the Parameters of the Buffer Storage of an Electric Bus Taking into Account the Degradation of the Lithium Battery
Abstract
The energy efficiency was determined of the energy storage buffer of the traction power unit of an electric bus taking into account the degradation of the lithium battery. A simulation model of the energy system of an electric bus was synthesized in MATLAB/Simulink, and the results of simulation of the energy system without a buffer storage and with a buffer of various capacities based on a lithium titanate battery were compared. The implementation of an energy storage buffer with 14.47% of the total capacity of the storage will increase the battery lifetime by 32.7%.
